Problems this solves
The agency has gone quiet. Emails go unanswered, and nobody knows where the hosting is contracted. Updates often stopped the day a particular person left.
Every update costs money. Changing one line of text still needs a quote and a purchase order, so out-of-date information stays up.
A maintenance fee is being paid, but it is unclear what it buys. The invoice arrives monthly, no work is reported, and the contract is nowhere to hand.

What is covered
Basic (¥10,000 a month) covers server and SSL management, scheduled backups, uptime monitoring, and one minor fix a month. The purpose of this plan is that nothing stops.
Standard (¥30,000–50,000 a month) adds content updates up to three times a month and incident response. It suits sites with a steady trickle of news and updated credentials.
Premium (¥80,000–150,000 a month) removes the update limit and adds monthly reporting, improvement proposals, and priority response. This is the plan for a site being actively grown.
Separately from a contract, ad-hoc fixes start at ¥30,000. If updates come up only a few times a year, that route is perfectly reasonable.
Taking over a site built by someone else
A takeover starts with an assessment: where hosting and the domain are contracted, which CMS and version are in use, when SSL expires, whether backups exist, and what has been left un-updated. You get it in writing.
Sometimes a site can be taken over as it stands; sometimes work is needed first. Where the CMS is old enough that security updates have stopped, we set out what has to happen before a takeover. The point of the assessment is to hand you the facts — it does not commit you to a contract.
The assessment is ¥50,000–150,000, and free if you go on to a maintenance contract. Stopping after the assessment is fine.

Reports reach us online around the clock. An incident outside business hours does not sit until the next working day.
How long recovery takes depends on the cause. For events we cannot act on directly, such as a fault at the hosting provider, we confirm the situation and set out the alternatives. We would rather be clear about that boundary before you sign than after.
