App development · Osaka
First we decide whether it should be an app at all.
We build iOS and Android apps, covering planning, design, development, store submission, and the maintenance that follows. Internal tools for your own staff and public apps for your customers are both in scope.
Apps are the field where turning back costs the most once the build has started. That is why the first question we settle is whether the feature genuinely needs an app.
Service overview
App development covers software that runs on a phone, from the first plan through to release. Sugureru Co., Ltd. (Osaka) designs the app together with the server behind it and the business systems it has to reach, rather than as a screen on its own.

Problems this solves
Field staff move between paper forms and photos on their phones. Someone then retypes all of it into a computer back at the office, every single day.
Quotes came back from several firms and the spread is too wide to judge. The word "app" covers a different scope of work at each of them.
An app built years ago fell out of the store because it never kept up with OS releases. Contracts that end at launch leave nobody responsible for the changes that arrive every year.
You want an app, but nobody internally can write the specification. Quotes keep going back and forth while the scope is still undecided.
What is covered
We start by pinning down the requirements: who opens the app, in what situation, and how often. When that stays vague and screens get built anyway, features keep accumulating and both cost and schedule swell.
Development covers the screens and the server and APIs behind them. If you already run a business system, we connect to it rather than beside it, so the same data is never kept in two places.
Release is handled too: submission to the App Store and Google Play, and any fixes the review teams ask for. Developer accounts are registered in your name, so the app never sits behind our credentials.
After launch we keep taking on the work that OS updates and store policy changes create. An app costs more attention in its second year than in its first.
Sometimes an app is the wrong answer
After hearing what you want to do, we sometimes say an app is not worth building. If a page opened in the phone browser does the job, going native only adds cost and time. That case belongs in web production.
The dividing line is whether the device itself is involved. Camera scanning, location, push notifications, entry where there is no signal — those call for an app. Viewing a list and typing into a form does not.
Some tools are only ever used internally and never need to reach a store. Building those as a phone-ready screen in a business system means updates ship without waiting on review.
We explain the reasoning either way in the first conversation, including the reasons not to build. If not building is the cheaper outcome, that is what we will tell you.
Price and lead time
We do not publish a starting price for apps, the way we do for the other services. The number of screens, the platforms, whether a server is needed, and how many external services connect can move the effort by several multiples. A floor price with nothing behind it would not help you decide.
The first conversation covers three things: who uses it, where they use it, and which features are non-negotiable. We then quote cost and schedule in writing. All quoted prices exclude tax.
If the budget is already fixed, we show what can be built within it. The first consultation and quote are free.
Frequently asked questions
Can you build for both iOS and Android?
Yes. One route shares a single codebase across both platforms using Flutter or React Native. The other builds natively in Swift and Kotlin. We ask what the app has to do and what the budget is, then recommend the route that fits.
Do you handle store submission and review?
We handle submission to the App Store and Google Play, including any fixes required by the review teams. Developer accounts are registered in your name, so the app never sits behind our credentials.
What does it cost, and how long does it take?
We do not publish a starting price for apps. The number of screens, the platforms involved, and whether a server is needed move the effort by several multiples. We scope the work in a first conversation, then quote the cost and the schedule in writing. All quoted prices exclude tax, and the first consultation and quote are free.

"I want to know what an app could do" is a fine place to start. We listen to what you have in mind, then say whether it should be an app, a website, or a business system. The first consultation and quote are free.
